Reaching Quality in Education

A cornerstone of the following thesis is conviction, that education is a core activity of every school and its headteacher is a main character in reaching quality of education. Leadership and management must go hand in hand, but they are not the same. In his analysis author uses many foreign researches to introduce leadership in the school enviroment. A theory of management by competencies is an introduction for the following comparison of the headteachers education in selected countries. Author keeps on mind an education policy of the OECD. A quantitative research among 112 headteachers is a synthesis of the previous qualitative analysis. A statistic method of generalized linear models (GLM) was used for analysis of the data. Competency model for theatre acting profession

My thesis discusses competencies necessary for the profession of a stage actor and requirements and demands on such professionals. The aim of my thesis is creation of generic competency model of the profession of a stage actor, which could be useful to drama oriented theatre organizations in the Czech Republic. The thesis approaches the topic of competencies and competency approach in human resources and focuses on selected acting theories. On such theoretical foundations the competencies are identified through expert panel method and the generic competency model of acting profession is assembled. Managing system of sales representatives

The theme of this thesis is to design a managing system of a particular group of financial advisors through managing a development of competences. In this work, you will learn about financial advisory field, the broker group and the specific business team, for which the proposal was created. To be successful as a financial advisor, an associate needs to master variety of competences. The ability to manage the work results is especially connected with manager's skills to control the team members' capability of achieving the targeted results and therefore his ability of controlling their competence levels. The suggested competence model is created for needs of the particular business team and is based on objective methods. The model is further used as a management tool. This is allowed by adding a rule of use and an evaluation system. The design of the system implementation contains a recommendation for introduction into the firm and a financial evaluation of the implementation investments.

Exploit of the teachers' potentiality in the development of the school

The work deals with problems of the personal activities of the school management. It engages in different manners of the monitoring teachers'qualifications provided by the head- master, further on it deals with methods of registration of the qualificational level and implementation possibilities of the teacher's personal development plan which is based on the identificational potenciality in the process of the development of the primary school. The autor delimitates the term qualification, characterizes the qualifying model and gives examples of the teacher's qualificational models, sketches possibilities of the identification teacher's qualifications and an evaluation of their level by the head-master, as well.The author aims on characterization of the potentiality and consequently on teacher's potentiality. In connection with the development of the school she outlines the plan of the teacher's personal development. The method of the management based on qualifications is given as the example. The author concludes own research from given theoretical pieces of knowledge. Based on the questionnaire research she compares manners of monitoring teachers'qualifications by head - masters and finds out as these qualifications are exploited in the development of the school.

Benefit analysis of employee management and development by competencies

The paper presents the benefits of employee management and development by competencies. The work has a theoretical and empirical character and it is dividend into six parts. The first two parts focus on the theories of an organizational strategy and the concepts of the competency approach in HR management and development in general. The practical application of the organizational strategy and competency approach in HR processes of an international company Cemex is critically observed in the third and fourth part. The analysis conducted on the basis of a "focus groups" among managers of Cemex constitutes the fifth part of this paper. The purpose of this analysis is to objectify the benefits of competency approach of the management and development in this organization. The sixth part summarizes the conclusions of the paper. Design of application supporting methodology Management by Competencies

This bachelor thesis aims to study manager methodology Management by Competencies and design application to support making of strategic decisions based on this methodology. Necessary and very important first part is description of the methodology itself; however, the focus of the thesis lies in the analysis of potential of its application support. On the basis of this assignment the work identifies requirements and describes application functions using use-case models. According to these models an application architecture, class and data design are suggested. This thesis contribution lies in approach towards creation of application which simplifies and streamlines implementation and use of the methodology.
